Back to school with Alpha Five! Alpha Five v11 and IIS and .Net Support
It's that time of year again. September is just around the corner, and even though I'm not going "back to school," the mindset is contagious and I'm in the mood to spread some Alpha Five knowledge!
Class is now in session with Professor Kurt Rayner, and today's lecture will be a prep for Alpha Five Version 11 on support for .Net with a bonus lesson on the application server for IIS 7. Kurt tackled these topics at our UK Developer Conference, and he's put together a screencast of both presentations.
The first screencast covers our new feature in Version 11 that is dedicated to support for .Net. He'll go over why we made the decision to incorporate .Net, what Alpha Five services you'll find for .Net, and its benefits.
Part two of our lecture and the second screencast will be on the application server for IIS in Version 11. This time, he'll be introducing a project we've been working on: integrating the Alpha Five Version 11 application server into Microsoft's Internet Information services.
Once again, he'll go over our reasoning for making this change and what we're looking to achieve. He'll also elaborate on the architecture and configuration of the project, the application development life cycle, the view from XBasic, the proof of concept code in R&D, and finally, the timeline.
Class dismissed!

Gary thanks for the comments. We've been posting more and more of our videos on YouTube, which now supports HTML settings as well. Check you YouTube settings. You should be able to watch anything we have on YouTube as HTML.
